A trusted partner
Vestrend works with an independent delivery company that handles the delivery of orders. This partner is solely responsible for transport operations.
Buyer's responsibility during delivery
Delivery of your order takes place in two stages:
- A first call, the confirmation call: the delivery person contacts you before setting off to make sure you'll be present at the address provided or at the chosen pickup point. By answering this call and confirming, you're confirming that you'll be able to receive your parcel.
- A second call, the arrival call: for home deliveries, the delivery person calls you again once they've arrived so you can receive your order.
Buyer's commitment
When you answer the first call and confirm your availability, you commit to being present at the time of delivery. The delivery person then loads your parcel and makes the trip to your address based on your confirmation.
What counts as a refused delivery
The following is considered a refused delivery:
- confirming your availability during the first call
- then not answering the second call, or not showing up to receive the parcel
Beyond the inconvenience this causes the delivery person, this situation is harmful to the proper organization of delivery routes and to the reliability of the service for the whole community.
When you answer 'yes, I'll be there' to the delivery person's first call, you're making a commitment. The delivery person loads your parcel and makes the trip to your home. If, once they arrive, they call you and you don't answer, or you don't open the door, you haven't kept your commitment. This counts as a refused delivery.
Applicable sanctions
To ensure the platform runs smoothly for everyone, any buyer who accumulates two confirmed refused deliveries will have their account temporarily suspended. In the event of a repeat occurrence, a permanent suspension may be imposed.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping make Vestrend a smooth, pleasant experience for everyone.
Payment on delivery
All orders are paid for at the time of delivery, exclusively in cash. You don't pay anything until you have the parcel in hand and have checked it.
The delivery process
- Confirmation call: The delivery person calls you before leaving the depot to confirm your presence. Please answer.
- Delivery person departs: Your parcel is on its way.
- Arrival call: For home deliveries, the delivery person calls when they arrive. Please answer.
- Inspection: You examine the product in the presence of the delivery person or the pickup point manager.
- Payment: If everything checks out, you pay in cash.
Change
To make delivery easier, we recommend preparing the exact amount. The delivery person is not required to provide change, but will do so whenever possible.
Pickup point
Show up with a valid ID. You can ask for the parcel to be opened on site, in the presence of the person in charge, to check its contents before paying.
