At Vestrend, we know that trust cannot be decreed - it is built. That's why we've designed security mechanisms tailored to the expectations of Algerian users, so that every transaction goes smoothly.

Double verification: protection for everyone

To guarantee full transparency and protect both buyer and seller, we have put in place a two-step verification system:

Step 1 - At the seller's: Before shipping, our delivery partner carries out an initial inspection of the product in the seller's presence. This step confirms that the item matches the listing description and protects the seller by documenting the product's initial condition.
Step 2 - At the buyer's home or at a pickup point: At delivery, whether at home or at a pickup point, the buyer can inspect the product before paying. For pickup-point deliveries, the buyer may ask for the parcel to be opened in the presence of the person in charge. They can check its general condition, its conformity with the listing, and the absence of any visible damage.

This double verification makes it possible to precisely identify the source of any potential issue:

If the defect existed before shipping, it is the seller's responsibility
If it occurred during transport, it is the delivery partner's responsibility
If the buyer approves the product upon delivery and pays, they assume responsibility for it

If the buyer chooses not to inspect the item

If the buyer prefers not to carry out this inspection at the time of delivery and proceeds with payment, they acknowledge accepting the item as is. After payment, no complaints regarding the condition or visible characteristics of the product can be taken into account.

Protection of personal information and complete anonymity

We place great importance on protecting the privacy of our users.

Absolute anonymity: Sellers have no access to any of the buyer's personal contact details. The only information passed on to the seller is strictly limited to what is needed to process the order, in particular a unique order identifier. The buyer remains completely anonymous throughout the process.
Communication exclusively through the platform: All communication between buyers and sellers must take place through Vestrend's built-in messaging system. This allows questions to be asked and information to be obtained while preserving both parties' anonymity.

Formal and absolute ban on any contact outside the platform

It is strictly forbidden to:

Share your phone number
Share your email address
Share your social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.)
Provide any information that would allow direct contact outside of Vestrend
Ask another user to share this information
Offer a buyer the option to complete the sale directly, bypassing the platform
Arrange a meeting or hand-to-hand delivery outside the Vestrend process

This rule is absolute and has no exceptions. It is designed to protect all users against the risks of fraud, scams, harassment, or theft. Any confirmed breach, whether by a seller or a buyer, will result in an immediate sanction. A first offense may lead to a temporary account suspension. In the event of a repeat or serious breach, the account will be permanently suspended without prior warning.

We do not tolerate any attempt to circumvent this fundamental security principle.
